MZ-140DX 2 Channel Installation Zone Amplifier

The MZ-140DX is a compact yet versatile 2-channel installation amplifier designed for smaller installations or for expanding larger systems. Delivering 140W RMS per channel with a total system power of 280W RMS, it provides reliable and consistent performance with dynamic power allocation that allows channel 1 to draw up to the full 280W RMS when required, provided total system power is not exceeded.

The MZ-140DX supports both 70/100V (Hi-Z) and 4/8 Ohm (Lo-Z) systems, offering flexibility for a wide range of installation applications. Two balanced 3.5mm Euroblock inputs allow flexible input assignment in 1:1 or 1:All configurations, while the simple front panel layout and scribble strips make setup and identification quick and intuitive for installers.

A rear panel USB-C input enables class-compliant audio streaming at 48kHz. The MZ-CTRL desktop application provides deep customisation, allowing control of input sensitivity, HPF, delay, phase, EQ, compression, routing, crossover and limiter settings, enabling a system precisely tailored to the application.

The compact half-rack 1U design makes the MZ-140DX ideal for tight spaces, with included hardware for surface mounting or pairing two units in a standard 19-inch rack. Designed with system expansion in mind, it is the perfect companion for the MZ-64P zone controller and preamplifier.
