The EVID-C4.2 is a high-quality 4-inch two-way coaxial ceiling loudspeaker system designed for commercial background music and clear paging in offices, retail, hospitality, and institutional spaces. Featuring a 4-inch (100mm) polypropylene LF cone and a waveguide-coupled 0.75-inch (19mm) titanium/Mylar laminate HF driver with a 3.3kHz 12dB/oct crossover and full-bandwidth overload protection, it delivers wide 130-degree conical coverage with consistent vocal intelligibility and smooth music reproduction.

Ideal for distributed audio installs, it supports 70V/100V lines via an integrated low-loss transformer with front-baffle tap selection (70V: 1.88/3.75/7.5/15/30W; 100V: 3.75/7.5/15/30W) plus 8-ohm bypass, and it complies with UL 1480 and UL 2043 (plenum/air-handling safe) for confident specification. A ported steel backcan with fiberglass damping extends low-frequency performance, while the powder-coated perforated steel grille (with safety tether) and included tile bridge, mounting ring, cutout template, paint shield, and backing support hardware make installation fast, secure, and professional in drop-ceiling environments.
