NP2XX-SILENT Neutrik silentPLUG 2-Pole 1/4-Inch Professional Phone Plug - Male

The Neutrik NP2XX-SILENT is a male 2-pole 1/4-inch (6.35 mm) professional phone plug for instrument and guitar cables. Its integrated REED-technology silent switch automatically shorts the cable during instrument changes under load, muting the connection to prevent pops and squeals.

The plug uses brass contacts with 0.2 micro m gold plating, solder-contact wiring and components made from polypropylene, polyamide, TPE and POM. It accepts cables with an outer diameter of 4 to 7 mm and a specified wire size of 1 mm² or 18 AWG. The rated voltage is below 50 V, and the operating temperature range is -20 °C to +65 °C.
