The MICROD is a high-quality miniature condenser instrument microphone designed for close-miking drums and percussion in live sound and studio recording. Featuring a smooth 40 Hz–20 kHz response, a uniformly controlled hypercardioid polar pattern, and a machined brass capsule with a durable black finish, it delivers clear detail, fast transient response, and strong feedback rejection at close distances.

Ideal for toms, snare, hand percussion, cymbals, and percussion toys, it handles very high sound pressure levels (≥140 dB) without distortion and runs on 9–52 V phantom power via the included APS910 adapter for dependable stage and touring use. The lightweight 47 g compact body (30 mm length, 12 mm capsule diameter) with an aluminum-ring rubber shockmount and flexible steel gooseneck improves isolation from vibration and makes positioning quick and secure.
