The Electro-Voice ZX1i-90T is an 8-inch two-way passive full-range loudspeaker configured for 70 V and 100 V distributed audio systems, with selectable transformer taps and an 8 ohm bypass. It combines an EV8L weatherised low-frequency driver, a DH2005 1-inch-exit compression driver and a high-impact ABS resin enclosure in a compact fixed-installation format.

Patented ASC Automatic Saturation Compensation prevents transformer saturation at low frequencies, helping protect the driving amplifier from saturation-related overload and distortion while supporting a consistent 50 Hz high-pass approach across multi-speaker lines. The integrated QuickSAM mounting system enables snap-fit placement and final position adjustment for efficient installation.
