Dicentis Camera Control

The DCN multimedia Camera Control software modules make it possible to interface the DCN multimedia system with Onvif compliant IP cameras. It selects fixed or pre positioned cameras (such as the Bosch HD Conference Domes) to be activated to display the current active speaker in a meeting.

When a participant’s microphone is activated, the camera assigned to this position is activated. When none of the microphone is activated, an overview camera is automatically activated. The video image is shown on the Multimedia Device’s touch screen and can also be displayed on the Meeting Application or at hall displays together with the information of the participant speaking.

Configuration is easy because all cameras are Onvif compliant automatically discovered.
